With 41 identified geosites and a territorial development strategy, it offers various attractions, such as the Geosites Route and the Arouca Walking Route Network.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, local operators organize tours that allow you to explore small picturesque villages, natural wonders such as waterfalls, and observe herds of goats, sheep and the typical Arouca breed of cattle up close. This 8 km walking route is located on the slopes of the left bank of the River Paiva, linking the river beaches of Areinho and Espiunca.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The most recent attraction of the Paiva Walkways is the 516 Arouca Bridge, one of the largest suspended pedestrian bridges in the world, 516 meters long and 175 meters high.
